Oura is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead day-to-day execution of US corporate accounting operations. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role owns the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, OPEX reporting, and audit readiness initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
**Month-End Close & Operations**: Drive the US corporate general ledger close with strict adherence to accounting policies. Manage close calendars, step dependencies, and coordination across AP, AR, and payroll workstreams. Identify and escalate close-related risks and control gaps to leadership.
**Journal Entry & Technical Review**: Oversee accrual accounting processes and model optimization. Act as primary reviewer for ASC 842 lease accounting, verifying classifications, discount rates, and ROU asset/liability entries. Review material journal entries and balance sheet schedules for debt, interest, and equity/stock-based compensation. Enforce SOX-compliant review frameworks with rigorous documentation and segregation of duties.
**Balance Sheet Integrity**: Oversee preparation and review of critical balance sheet reconciliations with audit-ready workpapers. Supervise fixed asset rollforwards, CAPEX schedules, and depreciation reviews. Lead P&L and balance sheet variance analyses for corporate OPEX. Partner with the Assistant Controller on executive-ready close narratives.
**Transformation & Controls**: Operationalize accounting policies and partner with Finance Transformation on continuous improvement initiatives. Streamline workflows, enforce internal controls, and scale general ledger infrastructure to support SOX compliance and public-company readiness. Collaborate with close-management platform administrators to optimize workflows and strengthen review visibility.
