Eikon Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company founded on Nobel Prize-winning innovations, is seeking a Senior Manager of Biostatistics to lead statistical strategy and execution across clinical trials and experimental studies. The role sits at the intersection of drug discovery and development, leveraging cutting-edge microscopy technology to unlock novel protein targets for life-threatening diseases.
You will lead a team of biostatisticians and statistical programmers, collaborating with cross-functional R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to design rigorous studies and drive evidence-based decision-making. Key responsibilities include designing clinical trials with appropriate statistical methodologies, developing comprehensive statistical analysis plans (including endpoints, sample size calculations, randomization strategies), performing advanced analyses on complex datasets, and mentoring junior statisticians.
You'll contribute directly to regulatory submissions, staying current with emerging biostatistical methods and driving adoption of advanced tools. The role requires deep expertise in oncology trial design (RECIST, dose-escalation designs like BOIN, biomarker-driven subgroup analyses) and hands-on proficiency in R (Posit/RStudio ecosystem: R Markdown, Shiny, tidyverse).
Required qualifications: PhD in statistics/biostatistics or related field with 3+ years clinical research and drug development experience, OR Master's degree with 7+ years relevant experience. Substantial oncology trial experience is essential. You'll be expected to guide teams through complex statistical challenges, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and help shape the statistical foundation of a high-impact biotech platform.
