Veho is building modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure for ecommerce. As a Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer, you'll bridge ML platform work and production model deployment, working alongside data scientists to create sophisticated models that optimize the logistics network and user experiences.
You'll own the infrastructure and tooling necessary to deploy, monitor, and scale machine learning models in production. This includes building reliable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure for AI/ML capabilities; creating robust data pipelines to feed analyses and models; enabling forecasting, network orchestration, and live pricing systems; and ensuring data quality and integrity through best practices in data integration.
Key responsibilities include building out robust feature stores, model orchestration tooling, experimentation tooling, and model performance monitoring. You'll create standards and templates for model development and deployment across all Data Science teams, working in close collaboration with data scientists while keeping business value at the center of your work.
You'll need a Bachelor's degree plus at least 3 years of machine learning engineering experience (or Master's plus 2 years). Required skills include developing and optimizing MLOps pipelines for speed, reliability, and observability; strong proficiency in Python and SQL; hands-on experience with open-source ML tooling (Ray, Flink, Feast); experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake); and cloud-based AWS data engineering and data science tools. Experience in startups and logistics/supply chain is a plus.
