Salary: USD 62.5 - 86.54 / hourly
Chime's Legal team is seeking a senior litigation paralegal to support the company's litigation, regulatory, and employment matters. You will manage a diverse portfolio including consumer litigation and arbitration, class actions, commercial disputes, regulatory inquiries and investigations, and employment matters. Key responsibilities include coordinating matter workflows, managing legal records and data, supporting discovery and regulatory responses, and helping attorneys and cross-functional partners drive matters toward resolution.
You will play an important role in advancing the team's use of data, analytics, AI-enabled technologies, and other emerging tools. This includes developing reporting and dashboards, identifying trends across the litigation portfolio, and designing AI agents and workflows that make legal processes more efficient and scalable.
Specific responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level paralegal support across consumer litigation, arbitration, class actions, commercial disputes, regulatory inquiries, investigations, and employment matters
- Manage matter workflows, calendars, deadlines, legal holds, discovery, regulatory responses, and other critical litigation and regulatory processes
- Maintain accurate matter records and data; coordinate with outside counsel and vendors; support budgeting and invoice review
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting on litigation, legal spending, cycle times, filings, claims, outcomes, and emerging risk trends; analyze portfolio data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Design, test, document, and maintain AI-enabled workflows and agents that improve legal research, matter management, document review, reporting, and other team processes
- Partner with attorneys and cross-functional teams (Compliance, Risk, Finance, People, Product, Operations) to gather information, coordinate projects, and move matters forward
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, strengthen controls, and build scalable processes
- Assist with special projects, investigations, and broader legal operations initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of relevant paralegal experience, including substantial experience supporting complex litigation at a law firm, in-house legal department, or both
- Experience managing litigation processes and deadlines, discovery, document collections and productions, legal holds, subpoenas, and large or complex matter portfolios
- Strong project-management skills and demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple matters, stakeholders, and competing priorities
- Experience organizing, analyzing, and reporting on legal or operational data, with strong attention to data accuracy and quality
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data-visualization or business-intelligence tools; experience with SQL and Looker, Hex, or comparable tools strongly preferred
- Experience using AI-enabled technologies and automation tools, and developing AI agents or other repeatable AI solutions to improve workflows
- Familiarity with matter-management, e-discovery, legal-hold, document-management, and legal-billing systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to work effectively with attorneys, business partners, outside counsel, and vendors
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach and willingness to learn new technologies, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate, or equivalent relevant experience
