You bring 7+ years of legal experience with meaningful time at both a top law firm and in-house at a technology or financial services company. You have strong commercial contracts expertise (SaaS, API/data licensing, platform agreements), familiarity with financial services regulation and fintech compliance, and practical knowledge of data privacy frameworks (CCPA, GLBA). Experience advising on AI in financial services is a plus.
You demonstrate proficiency with legal AI tools (contract review platforms, AI-assisted research, legal workflow automation) and genuine enthusiasm for integrating technology into legal practice. You operate independently with sound judgment, prioritize competing demands, and deliver practical, business-oriented advice. You move with urgency, make decisions quickly, and drive issues to closure without waiting for direction. You excel at distilling complex legal issues into clear guidance for non-legal stakeholders and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
