Emburse, an AI-powered expense intelligence platform serving 12M+ users across 120 countries, is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to enhance the skills and performance of its global workforce and solve complex organizational challenges.
You will own three core pillars of talent development:
**Talent Development & Performance Management:** Coordinate end-to-end performance review cycles including tool administration, completion tracking, and troubleshooting. Partner with managers and employees to establish SMART goals and ensure organizational objectives cascade effectively. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to identify performance trends, capability gaps, and development opportunities across business units.
**Talent Reviews & Succession Planning:** Support preparation, logistics, and data compilation for talent review and calibration sessions. Maintain tracking systems for high-potential employees, talent matrices, and succession planning documentation. Track development plans and actionable outcomes from talent discussions to ensure follow-through.
**On-Site Facilitation, Content & Process:** Deliver engaging in-person workshops and presentations on performance management, goal setting, and professional development. Create visually compelling training materials using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Slides), including job aids, manager guides, and collateral. Manage project timelines, track milestones, and maintain internal knowledge base documentation for HR and L&D initiatives.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4–7 years of experience in Human Resources, as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or L&D Specialist
- Foundational understanding of performance review frameworks, goal-setting methodologies, and talent management principles
- Strong public speaking and communication skills with comfort leading in-person discussions, presentations, and interactive workshops
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and comfort with HRIS or Performance Management platforms (Workday, Lattice, SuccessFactors, BambooHR, or UKG)
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Experience with talent calibration and succession planning meetings
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) or Adult Learning Certificate
