Salary: USD 195,000 - 260,000 / annual

Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. You will join Adyen's global Internal Communications team as a Senior Internal Communications Manager based in San Francisco. This role carries dual regional and global responsibilities: **Regional Scope (North America):** You will own internal communications strategy and execution for the North America region end-to-end, serving as the strategic communications lead for thousands of colleagues. You will manage key milestones, launches, leadership moments, and cultural touchpoints, working directly with NA leaders to sharpen how they communicate and engage their teams. **Global Scope:** You will lead high-profile, company-wide initiatives that reach every Adyen employee globally, partnering with leaders and teams across all regions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Shape and scale Adyen's global internal communications strategy as the company enters its next growth phase - Own North America internal communications milestones end-to-end: strategy, narrative, format, delivery, and measurement - Own global internal communications projects end-to-end, ensuring company-wide messages reach all employees - Create content and experiences through events, campaigns, video, and written content that bring company priorities to life - Establish processes, tools, and channels that drive dialogue and engagement, not just information sharing - Use data and feedback to measure effectiveness and continuously improve internal communications You will report to the Head of Internal Communications (based in Amsterdam) and will have real autonomy to set priorities against agreed goals and make day-to-day judgment calls. You'll work with a few hours of daily overlap with Amsterdam, supported by regular 1:1s and team syncs. The role requires flexibility to work across time zones and occasional travel. **Requirements:** - 10+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, ideally in a high-growth environment - Proven track record owning a region or comparable scope and leading company-wide projects (not just supporting) - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong storytelling ability - Experience designing and executing internal events and moments from narrative conception through delivery - Self-starter who takes ownership without close oversight; proactive written communicator comfortable operating independently when manager and team are in different time zones - Thrives in fast-growing organizations; drives projects end-to-end, manages diverse stakeholders with ease, comfortable with ambiguity and complex topics - Curious, creative, and data-driven; uses insights and metrics to inform decisions and test new approaches
