Reserv is an InsurTech company founded in 2022 and backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures. The company builds AI and automation technology to modernize insurance claims processing, eliminating manual work and setting new standards for third-party administrators, insurance technology providers, and adjusters.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps), you will own and evolve Reserv's AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across containerized services. You'll be the technical leader responsible for infrastructure automation, deployment reliability, and system observability.
Key responsibilities include:
**Cloud Infrastructure & IaC**: Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt across multiple AWS Organization accounts. Implement configuration management, secrets handling, version control, and infrastructure change processes. Continuously optimize for performance, cost efficiency, and high availability.
**Deployments & CI/CD**: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions supporting secure, automated deployments of containerized services. Improve deployment processes and reduce deployment friction for the engineering team.
**Monitoring & Observability**: Build comprehensive monitoring and alerting using Datadog. Establish observability practices that enable rapid incident response and system performance visibility.
**Operational Excellence**: Be responsive to engineering team needs and system performance issues. Troubleshoot infrastructure problems, optimize resource utilization, and implement best practices for reliability and security.
You'll work closely with the engineering team to understand their infrastructure needs and proactively improve systems. This is an individual contributor role focused on technical depth and infrastructure leadership.
