Salary: USD 80,000 - 125,000 / annual

As a Senior Health Data Analyst on the Compass Patient Team, you will own health data investigations and improvements for Veeva Compass, a suite of data products that includes prescription and medical claims record-level data supporting de-identified patient analytics for commercial use cases like patient journey, market landscape, and provider engagement.
You will focus on three key areas: (1) Data Support—investigate internal and external questions to understand data trends and behavior within customer-defined cohorts and across the network; (2) Data Quality—define and track quality metrics in your target domain via dashboards, identify improvement opportunities, and document learnings cross-functionally; (3) Data Network Improvements—collaboratively launch new features to enhance data at scale across billions of records.
Key responsibilities include owning investigation and resolution of data observations driven by stakeholders, understanding the product pipeline and its data impact, building standard templates to streamline data quality, owning analytics projects in the data and feature roadmaps, designing new data analytics and quality features (match, merge, dedupe logic, value enrichment, reference mappings), and establishing quality metrics and dashboards for continuous improvement in areas such as merging, payer data, lab, and prescribers.
You will work alongside Product Managers, Customer Success Managers, Engineers, and QA to implement improvements and drive product excellence. This role requires 4+ years analyzing prescription and medical claims data, advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational databases, knowledge of industry standard billing codes (ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC), and experience documenting and presenting analytics results with stakeholders and defining KPIs and building dashboards.
Nice-to-have skills include Python, experience with the BI tool Sigma, commercial life science use cases, and enterprise product experience.
