Ethos is a life insurance technology platform democratizing access to life insurance through a three-sided marketplace connecting consumers, agents, and carriers. The company offers instant, no-medical-exam products via a seamless online process. You will own the post-lead, post-contact user journey for Ethos's Annuities business (and future product lines), focused on re-engagement, retention, and maximizing long-term customer value. Annuities is a higher-stakes B2C product with deal sizes of $250K–$300K+ and multi-call sales cycles, making re-engagement materially more important than in simpler product lines. Key responsibilities: **Roadmap & Strategy**: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to re-engage prospects and move them through a complex, high-consideration sales journey. Operate as the re-engagement strategist on a shared OKR with the Lead PM, Annuities. **Agent Scaling**: Build interventions—email content, SMS sequences, landing pages, self-serve tools—that push clients along the funnel without requiring agent time on every touch. Agent bandwidth is a hard constraint; your job is to relieve it. **Three Modes of Re-Engagement**: (1) Triggered messaging—event-driven outbound on the right cadence and channel mix; (2) Agent-personalized follow-up—tooling and templates that let agents send contextual resources (articles, dashboards, calculators) post-call, with intelligence that personalizes over time; (3) Self-serve client tools—interactive scenario calculators, dashboards, and portal experiences that let clients move themselves along (e.g., comparing annuities vs. 401(k)s, modeling income). **Lifecycle Automation**: Build, test, and optimize complex sequences across channels using CRM and marketing automation platforms. Partner with offshore ops for execution; strategy, decision-making, and creative are the bottlenecks, not ops bandwidth. **Experimentation**: Run high-velocity A/B tests on subject lines, send times, channel mix, offer structures, and landing-page variants. Report on statistical significance and roll out winners. **Data & Segmentation**: Work with the Data team to build dynamic user segments and ensure the right message reaches the right user at the moment of intent. **Required qualifications:** - 6+ years in Lifecycle/Re-Engagement, Growth Product, or CRM at B2C Tech, FinTech, Insurtech, or Marketplace companies. Higher-consideration/higher-AOV product experience strongly preferred. - Multi-channel mindset across email, SMS, voice/conversational AI, push, in-app, and on-page experiences. - Hands-on ability to spin up landing pages and lightweight web experiences (e.g., using AI coding tools) to test variants without engineering support. - Technical CRM proficiency with enterprise marketing automation tools (Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot, or similar). You build workflows independently. - Analytical mindset and SQL fluency. You understand lift, statistical significance, cohort retention, and LTV. SQL is required (not bonus)—you write your own queries to pull lists and analyze performance. - Strong copywriting skills, especially for higher-consideration financial products where trust and clarity matter. - Experience collaborating with PMs on shared goals/OKRs, with strong judgment about when to lead, follow, and drive cross-functional decisions.
