Salary: USD 174,250 - 205,000 / annual
Jasper is a marketing agents platform that helps enterprises orchestrate AI agents to execute marketing work at scale. As Senior GRC Lead, you will own the Governance, Risk, and Compliance program end-to-end, building a program that scales with Jasper's AI-native products. You will rebuild and maintain momentum on audits, risk management, and vendor security, partnering closely with Security, Legal, and Engineering to keep Jasper compliant and trustworthy as the company grows.
Key responsibilities include owning compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, with a path toward ISO 42001), supporting GDPR and privacy compliance alongside Legal, rationalizing overlapping requirements across frameworks, and serving as the subject-matter expert on control mapping during customer audits, RFPs, and enterprise sales engagements. You will respond to customer security questionnaires, maintain and improve the risk register, manage vendor and third-party risk assessments, own policy management, and partner cross-functionally to embed compliance requirements into how the company builds and operates. You will also automate compliance workflows and drive AI governance across the company and product.
You bring 8+ years of GRC experience ideally at a SaaS company, with deep expertise across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and at least one regulatory framework (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). You have expertise in cloud-native web application development and security best practices, experience with GRC tooling (Vanta, Drata, OneTrust), and strong cross-functional communication skills. You have prior startup or fast-growing SaaS experience, relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC), and AI fluency—a working understanding of LLMs, agents, copilots, RAG, and data governance. Ideally, you have hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and working knowledge of Python to automate workflows and build tools.
