Flock Safety is seeking a Senior GRC Engineer to lead governance, risk, and compliance operations as the company scales its public safety platforms. This role transforms compliance from periodic audits into continuous, automated capabilities across SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and privacy frameworks. You will architect and deploy automated workflows that embed compliance controls directly into engineering and business operations. Key responsibilities include managing audit readiness and evidence collection, designing systems for continuous compliance monitoring across cloud and SaaS infrastructure, handling customer assurance requests and security questionnaires, and partnering with Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, and Product teams to integrate compliance into software development processes. This is an engineering-driven role focused on automation and workflow optimization, not traditional manual audit management. You'll own audit readiness deliverables, manage customer security reviews, and build hands-on compliance tools that scale operations. Required experience includes demonstrated GRC, cybersecurity, or IT audit background in SaaS or cloud environments (preferably AWS), hands-on support for multi-framework audits like SOC 2 or ISO 27001, ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable workflows, and practical understanding of cloud security concepts and automation platforms. Relevant certifications (Security+, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Internal Auditor) are a plus. Flock Safety supports over 1 million criminal investigations annually and has helped locate more than 10,000 missing people. The company is 1,700 people strong with over $1B in funding, operating at high pace with real-world impact.
