Setpoint is building critical infrastructure for the asset-backed lending market, a $5 trillion sector undergoing modernization. The company provides a funding operating system that helps borrowers and lenders standardize, verify, and store documents and data in a central repository. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own end-to-end development of high-impact features across the full stack, from design through launch. You'll work on client-facing, mission-critical functionality including AI-driven features that accelerate document review, streamline data verification, and ensure data integrity in the lending ecosystem. Key responsibilities include: - Building systems that streamline parsing, standardization, and movement of complex financial data - Delivering client-facing features with responsible use of AI/LLM technologies to automate workflows while maintaining quality and compliance - Collaborating with Product, Finance, and Leadership to shape the roadmap, with direct access to the Tech Lead and C-Suite - Investing in internal tooling that keeps the team productive and maintains high velocity - Partnering with cross-functional teams to clarify scope, validate client expectations, and ensure impactful delivery - Participating in rotating on-call shifts to investigate, triage, and resolve production issues You should have 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production systems. Expertise in the modern tech stack (Python/Flask, TypeScript/React, Tailwind CSS, data warehouses, and AI tools) is expected. You thrive with autonomy, move fast, and obsess over user experience. Strong database and data warehouse experience is a plus, with focus on auditability and change tracking for critical datasets.
