The Web Infrastructure team builds and maintains foundational frontend systems that power how ~1,000 engineers across 50+ product teams at Rippling develop, build, and ship code. This includes local development environments, core CLI tooling, developer infrastructure, and deployment strategies. The team's work is upstream of all product development; improvements directly accelerate shipping velocity across the company.
In this Senior Frontend Engineer role, you will:
• Own and deliver key workstreams in transitioning Rippling's frontend from a tightly coupled monolith to a federated architecture, enabling product teams to build, test, and ship independently while maintaining a unified customer experience.
• Evolve and maintain Rippling's core web CLI and build infrastructure, driving measurable improvements to build reliability, local development performance, and developer ergonomics.
• Optimize build efficiency and artifact delivery across local, CI, staging, and production environments using telemetry, baselines, and data to systematically eliminate bottlenecks and regressions.
• Build and ship internal frontend tooling and libraries that meaningfully improve engineering velocity and developer experience.
This is a high-impact role on a team that directly influences how the entire engineering organization ships product. You'll work on infrastructure challenges at scale, collaborate with dozens of product teams, and have visibility into company-wide technical strategy.
