Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join the Electronic Warfare (EW) team in Costa Mesa, California. The EW team develops high-reliability radios, embedded processing, and power systems for software-defined radio platforms that enable next-generation autonomous electronic warfare capabilities.
In this role, you will own end-to-end FPGA design and verification for software-defined radio platforms on AMD/Xilinx SOC/FPGA architectures. You will work cross-functionally with software and electrical engineers to bring up state-of-the-art boards, design and test VHDL DSP modules, integrate subsystems into larger FPGA cores, and develop drivers for custom RF component boards. You will be responsible for managing project deliverables, solving resource and timing issues, and establishing robust design processes.
Required qualifications include 8+ years of professional FPGA/embedded systems experience, strong DSP implementation expertise for embedded devices and software-defined radios, hands-on experience with Xilinx/AMD SOC/FPGAs, proficiency with high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, JESD, Aurora, optical), fluency in VHDL and/or Verilog, Linux development environment experience, Git and CI/CD workflow knowledge, and eligibility for U.S. Secret security clearance. You should be a self-starter, outcome-driven, and excellent communicator.
Preferred qualifications include experience with latest AMD SOC/FPGAs, knowledge of AMD FPGA NoC and advanced design features (partial reconfiguration, DFX), signal processing flow knowledge, exposure to wireless communications and radar systems, RF test equipment experience, and familiarity with AMD AIE tiles.
This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and equity as part of Anduril's total compensation package.
