Webflow is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to help shape production-grade agentic web operations. You'll be one of the first engineers at Webflow to work directly with enterprise customers, turning first-of-kind deployments into blueprints that inform the platform roadmap. In this role, you'll partner closely with strategic enterprise accounts to map business-critical marketing and web workflows. You'll design and build agentic workflows using Webflow APIs, CMS, components, and emerging AI capabilities. Key responsibilities include building integrations between Webflow and external platforms (ad platforms, analytics, CRM, DAM, data pipelines), implementing human-in-the-loop safeguards and observability from day one, and ensuring every deployment holds up under production traffic and governance scrutiny. You'll document where agentic workflows break down, identify systemic friction points, and create reusable architecture blueprints and reference implementations after each engagement. You'll also collaborate pre-sale to de-risk complex AI or integration concerns for strategic accounts. You bring 4–6 years of experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, or customer-facing technical roles. You have strong working knowledge of AI, APIs, automation, data pipelines, and integration architecture patterns. Front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks) are essential, as is experience designing and supporting systems managing live web properties at scale. You're familiar with workflow automation tools like n8n and have a track record of working through ambiguity in first-of-kind contexts. You're willing to travel to customer sites for embedded engagements. You think holistically across systems, product, and risk. You have strong product intuition and know when to generalize versus customize. You're comfortable working within production constraints and communicating trade-offs clearly. You have experience with or genuine curiosity about agentic AI systems, LLM orchestration, and autonomous workflows. Familiarity with Webflow or similar visual development/CMS platforms is a plus. You stay curious and proactive about emerging technologies. The role reports to the Director, Solutions Architects and requires an in-person onboarding session in San Francisco, CA.
