AssemblyAI is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Success team and drive customer outcomes with Voice AI technology. You'll serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise customers, helping them integrate AssemblyAI's voice AI models into their products and realize their vision at scale.
In this role, you'll onboard new customers, evaluate their use cases, and identify opportunities to integrate voice AI into their product roadmaps. You'll manage a diverse set of technical customers, communicating primarily asynchronously while ensuring high-quality support and guidance. You'll lead commercial and technical meetings, demonstrating the value of AssemblyAI's capabilities and driving growth in API usage across customer accounts.
You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Support, Engineering, Research, and Product teams to ensure customers maximize value from the platform. Your insights and customer feedback will directly influence the product roadmap. You'll act as a thought leader and customer advocate, helping customers choose the right plans, models, and use cases for their needs.
The role requires wearing multiple hats—part software engineer, part product manager, part account manager, part support specialist. You'll proactively identify technical and commercial opportunities, create detailed execution plans, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with expansive ownership.
