Okta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the financial business partner to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing organization. This is a strategic finance role focused on managing a significant portion of Okta's growth investment and driving ROI-based decision-making across the marketing function. Key responsibilities include: **Business Partnering & Strategy**: Act as the primary financial advisor to Marketing leadership, developing deep partnerships with key functional verticals (Demand Gen, Digital, Product Marketing). Interpret financial results and influence operational decisions to optimize capital deployment for pipeline and revenue generation. **Budgeting & Forecasting**: Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles for Marketing operating expenses and headcount using Anaplan. Dig into variance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and articulate the financial narrative behind results. **Pipeline & ROI Modeling**: Support pipeline generation forecasting and funnel analysis (conversion rates, velocity). Develop marketing efficiency metrics including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and Marketing ROI. Partner with Marketing Operations to assess program spend efficiency and pipeline health. **Required Qualifications**: 3-5+ years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking (SaaS/Software preferred). Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to build complex financial models and executive presentations. Strong communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders. Familiarity with Anaplan, NetSuite, Coupa, Salesforce, Workday, and Tableau. Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, Gemini) to accelerate analysis and reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. **Bonus Qualifications**: Go-To-Market (Sales or Marketing) support experience, understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, Retention, Magic Number), comfort in high-growth environments with shifting priorities, experience presenting to senior/executive leadership, and interest in building scalable self-serve reporting and dashboards.
