Zscaler is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A India team in Mohali. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager in Finance and focuses on financial planning and analysis for the Public Sector Geo, supporting the US headquarters and optimizing global market outcomes.
Key responsibilities include analyzing monthly and quarterly go-to-market (GTM) performance metrics such as New Business ACV, upsell/cross-sell activity, pipeline health, and coverage ratios. You will provide variance analysis comparing actual bookings to forecasts to identify performance drivers. The role involves managing headcount and expense reporting and forecasting across marketing spend, travel, and program budgets, while driving cost-saving initiatives and process automation through detailed variance commentaries.
You will support the annual planning process and rolling quarterly forecasts by building and maintaining financial models to predict productivity and consolidating regional inputs into cohesive narratives for US leadership. Collaboration with US-based GTM Operations and Global FP&A teams is essential, with flexibility to overlap with US Pacific Standard Time zones for key forecast calls and business reviews.
The role emphasizes leveraging AI/ML tools to automate routine reporting, enhance predictive forecasting, and use generative AI to synthesize large datasets for executive summaries. You will collaborate with the Analytics team to integrate advanced statistical solutions.
Success requires a data-driven mindset, innovation orientation, ownership mentality, ability to distill complex financial data into actionable plans, and resilience across global time zones. Minimum qualifications include 3-5 years of FP&A, Sales Finance, or Business Finance experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies, plus a Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent advanced professional degree. Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for automation and forecasting is required. Preferred skills include intermediate-to-expert Excel and Google Sheets proficiency, familiarity with ERP/EPM tools (NetSuite, Adaptive), CRM/BI tools (Salesforce, Tableau), and basic SQL or Python knowledge.
