CEEZER is building enterprise-grade infrastructure for Climate Performance Asset management, helping the world's largest companies source and manage carbon credits, Energy Attribution Certificates, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates with data-driven precision and real-time monitoring.
You will join as Finance Manager, owning critical financial processes and generating quantitative insights to support strategic decision-making for the leadership team. Your responsibilities include:
- Drive month-end closing process by preparing accounting information and collaborating with external accountants to finalize monthly financial records in Datev
- Support monthly investor reporting and quarterly Board Meeting materials preparation
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, track actual performance against forecast, analyze variances, and share insights with leadership
- Assist external accountants with annual reports and third-party audits
- Manage internal expense systems, ensure accurate expense records, and process accounts payable timely
- Prepare and issue client invoices, track payment status, and follow up on overdue payments
- Participate in external due diligence processes such as fundraising
- Continuously improve, streamline, and automate Finance processes to drive scalability
You bring a Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, with 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant role. You have comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles (HGB, IFRS, GAAP), month-end close processes, cost controlling, AP and AR management. Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills for financial modeling are essential. You are analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Professional English fluency is required; German fluency is a plus. Valid work permit in Germany required.
