The Senior Finance Analyst reports to the Vice President of FP&A and plays a critical role in the company's financial strategy and operations. This position focuses on financial forecasting, revenue and expenditure analysis, capital structure modeling, and comprehensive budgeting across all business areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting financial forecasting, reporting, and tracking operational metrics
- Analyzing financial data and building financial models to guide organizational decision-making
- Preparing financial performance reports and materials for regular executive reviews
- Performing variance analysis on historical results, identifying trends, and recommending improvements
- Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Evaluating actual financial performance against plans and forecasts
- Developing predictive financial models for WelbeHealth and select markets
- Driving process improvements through creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
The role requires direct collaboration with market leaders, Vice Presidents, and senior executives, contributing meaningfully to company strategy and growth initiatives.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or related field, plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience in investment banking, in-house finance, consulting, or accounting. Strong technical skills are essential: expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and functions), comfort with PowerPoint for executive presentations, and familiarity with data query and management tools such as Access, SQL, or Business Objects.
