Antithesis is a platform that redefines how modern distributed systems are tested and released, trusted by engineering teams who demand rock-solid reliability, scalable performance, and deep technical visibility. The company solves a critical pain point for developers: production outages, on-call incidents, and release delays caused by hard-to-reproduce bugs.
You will serve as Senior Field Marketing Manager based in Vienna, VA (Tysons Corner), contributing to the North America strategy, budget, and execution of end-to-end trade shows, developer summits, and community programs. You'll partner closely with Sales and Developer Education to grow the pipeline and strengthen the developer community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and coordinate the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget, aligning with global priorities and local market needs
- Lead end-to-end execution of trade shows, conferences, meetups, and sponsorships, managing logistics, vendor relationships, equipment, catering, travel, collateral, and swag
- Drive community engagement by partnering with Developer Education on grassroots programs, meetups, and champion networks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales to drive pipeline creation and acceleration, and with Marketing teams on pre-, during-, and post-event engagement
- Track performance, budgets, and ROI of all owned programs, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support flagship events including bi-annual internal company-wide events and the user conference, Bug Bash
- Travel up to 50% during peak conference season (average 25–30% annually)
- Work in the Vienna office five days a week when not traveling for events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of field marketing or demand generation experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud industries
- Proven success executing North America marketing programs that drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline growth
- Strong experience managing events of all sizes, from grassroots meetups to large-scale conferences
- Hands-on expertise with event sponsorships, including contract negotiation, vendor management, and deliverables
- Familiarity with devtool market dynamics, cultural nuances, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects against tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Developer Education teams
- Experience with marketing technologies such as Salesforce and Marketo (preferred, not required)
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Passion for developer communities and distributed systems
- Based in Virginia and available to work in the office five days a week when not traveling
