ANYbotics is a fast-growing mobile robotics company with 190+ employees, transforming industrial inspection in energy, process, and utility sectors. The company's flagship product, ANYmal, is a legged mobile robot equipped with advanced sensing (camera, LIDAR) and AI for autonomous inspection missions in complex environments.
As a Senior Field Engineer, you will lead the customer adoption journey and own strategic execution of multi-site robotics deployments. You will represent ANYbotics on the ground, implementing solutions, facilitating organizational change, and ensuring deep integration into customer workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex, multi-site customer projects from onboarding through operational autonomy, managing timelines and value delivery
- Serving as primary point of contact for customer leadership and operations teams, driving user adoption by navigating organizational dynamics and championing robotics value
- Coordinating field technicians and internal specialists, setting priorities, allocating resources, and resolving on-site challenges
- Consulting with global industrial clients to integrate robotics into broader business workflows, acting as bridge between operational challenges and technical teams
- Leading training and enablement sessions for diverse audiences (operators to plant management), tailoring approaches to maximize user confidence and system utilization
- Translating field insights into actionable requirements for Product and R&D teams, ensuring customer voice drives innovation
You will work in a fast-paced, international environment with frequent travel (up to 60%) and direct engagement in customer sites. Your insights from the field will directly shape the future of ANYbotics' technology through collaboration with R&D teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, robotics, or related field
- Proven track record in customer-facing roles, ideally within robotics, industrial automation, or complex technical systems
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive leadership and operational teams; ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, navigate organizational dynamics, and drive user adoption in industrial environments
- Strong operational leadership capability to coordinate teams, manage on-site priorities, and maintain project continuity in high-pressure, international settings
- Enthusiasm for frequent international travel (up to 60%) and comfort working directly in customer environments
- Collaborative, empathetic mindset with relentless focus on customer success
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience deploying robots or other automation systems
- Experience with Linux and command-line usage
- Familiarity with network infrastructure
