Juniper Square is the operations partner for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs with a unified platform combining technology, data, and fund administration. With $300B+ under administration and 1,000+ employees, the company is building an Events function to drive business impact across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real assets.
As a Senior Events Manager, you will own an asset-class portfolio and partner closely with Sales teams to determine where Juniper Square should show up, what experiences will serve audiences and business objectives, and how each program creates meaningful opportunities to deepen relationships and generate pipeline.
This role balances strategy with the craft of creating great experiences. You will think through the full attendee journey—from invitation and pre-event engagement through content, hospitality, environment, flow, branding, and follow-up—bringing high-level thoughtfulness to details that make experiences feel intentional. You will not simply execute a calendar; you will shape your portfolio, develop a point of view on events and formats that matter most to your audience, and continuously improve how Juniper Square shows up in the market.
The Events team is commercially minded. You will be accountable for outcomes including pipeline sourced, account progression, cost per opportunity, event ROI, and post-event follow-through, using results to understand what works and inform future investment.
Key responsibilities include: carrying pipeline targets for your asset-class portfolio and owning performance against quarterly goals; measuring portfolio performance across pipeline, account progression, cost per opportunity, event ROI, and target-account engagement; building pre-event target account lists in partnership with AEs and sales leaders; owning scorecard and data integrity for your portfolio; managing post-event follow-up systems and SLAs; designing event formats and full attendee journeys; serving as end-to-end Event Lead for your portfolio; managing vendors, venues, and cross-functional contributors within budget; developing asset-class depth including knowledge of major conference producers and sponsorship economics; and building trusted working partnerships with AEs and sales leaders.
You will exercise judgment on requests, proactively participate in Sales planning cadences, and bring market and account insights back to strengthen the entire Events function.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-haves:
- 6+ years of experience running B2B events, field programs, customer programs, or similar work where you owned the outcome, not only execution
- Strong commercial orientation; track record of carrying or contributing to pipeline or revenue targets
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills, including ability to push back on low-value work and propose alternatives
- Track record of building trusted working relationships with account executives and Sales leaders
- Working fluency with Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, and event technology; understanding of data hygiene and measurement
- Track record of creating programs people genuinely wanted to attend, not only executing logistics well
- Ability and willingness to travel for on-site event execution
Helpful but not required:
- Experience in private markets, asset management, fintech, or financial services
- Familiarity with private markets conference circuit and major producers (private equity, venture capital)
- Comfort using AI tools and lightweight automation
- Based in or near core event markets (New York or San Francisco); familiarity with local market and community
