Salary: USD 280,000 - 340,000 / annual
Neo4j is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within the Financial Services sector. You will execute a strategic sales plan targeting Tier-1 Banking and Global Capital Markets customers, focusing on mission-critical use cases in fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML), and real-time risk management.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing territory plans targeting large banking institutions, becoming an expert in Neo4j's graph database offerings and industry solutions, and delivering compelling demos and proposals that articulate business value for complex financial ecosystems. You will lead complex sales cycles using solution-based approaches and the Land & Expand model to grow high-value banking accounts, managing the full sales process from prospecting to closing. You'll also provide guidance and mentorship to SDRs and Field Marketing teams, maintain CRM data integrity, and develop partnerships with public cloud providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure) to drive growth within cloud-first banking initiatives.
You bring 7+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales with a consistent track record of exceeding targets in Financial Services. You have demonstrated experience managing complex sales processes in enterprise markets, specifically in Data Warehousing, AI/ML, or Fraud/Risk Management. You can independently develop close relationships with C-level stakeholders at major banks and manage long-term business engagements. You possess deep understanding of commercial open-source business models, including selling on-premise and secure cloud/SaaS hybrid solutions for regulated environments.
You are skilled at crafting and executing sales strategies tailored to Banking and Securities industries, leveraging partner and Go-to-Market knowledge. You have strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills with a talent for building strong business champions. You are familiar with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales and have experience working in fast-paced, competitive markets. You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Field Engineering.
Preferred qualifications include experience selling complex technical solutions into enterprise markets with a focus on subscription-based models and cloud deployments, knowledge of graph technology and data management tools, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
