Reltio, an SAP Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Reliability and Resiliency Engineering to strengthen platform reliability across its multi-cloud SaaS platform. The Context Intelligence Platform harmonizes and unifies fragmented enterprise data in real time, enabling AI agents and systems to operate at scale across life sciences, financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors.
In this hands-on role, you will drive reliability practices, operationalize chaos engineering, and embed resilience into the software development lifecycle. You'll design and implement resilience strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, support chaos engineering initiatives integrated into CI/CD pipelines, and validate recovery objectives (RTO, RPO, SLO) using metrics and governance controls.
Key responsibilities include improving resilience across distributed system components (databases, caching, messaging, authentication services), supporting multi-region and cross-cloud failover validation, and reducing cascading failures. You'll leverage observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and LogDNA to validate system behavior, integrate reliability checks into Jenkins pipelines, and ensure production readiness before releases.
You'll collaborate with SRE, platform, and development teams to establish best practices, contribute to documentation, and participate in incident analysis and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings 6–9 years of software engineering experience with distributed systems and microservices, hands-on Kubernetes expertise (EKS, AKS, GKE), and strong Java/Spring Boot skills. Experience with chaos engineering tools (Chaos Mesh, Gremlin, Harness), multi-region architecture, service mesh, and performance testing is valued.
