Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems, AI, and sensor fusion technology. The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team develops high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms.
As a Senior Electrical Test Engineer, you will design and create comprehensive test systems supporting all phases of product development, from initial design through qualification, verification, validation, and field deployment. You will work closely with avionics, systems, and software engineers to develop test architectures for flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing systems that operate in complex, contested environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing test systems and test plans for development, qualification, and verification of avionics and embedded systems
- Creating automated test frameworks and instrumentation for PCB-level and system-level testing
- Collaborating with hardware and software teams to define testability requirements and acceptance criteria
- Supporting active deployments and customer-operated hardware with rapid troubleshooting and field test support
- Developing test procedures for flight-critical systems meeting military reliability and survivability standards
- Integrating commercial test equipment and custom instrumentation into cohesive test environments
- Documenting test methodologies, results, and lessons learned for scalable, repeatable processes
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where you directly impact next-generation autonomous air platforms. The role requires hands-on technical depth in electrical testing combined with systems-level thinking to ensure mission-ready solutions.
