Salary: USD 247,000 - 343,000 / annual

As Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead and scale Checkr's recruiting function globally, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People. You will manage a team of approximately 15 talent acquisition professionals and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and scaling with company growth - Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals to high performance standards - Partnering cross-functionally with leaders across the organization to understand talent needs and optimize recruiting efforts - Applying commercial acumen to balance hiring speed, cost, and quality while connecting recruiting investment to business outcomes - Leveraging data and analytics to drive improvements in hiring velocity and quality of hire, implementing metrics and reporting systems - Integrating AI and innovative technology tools into the recruiting process to streamline operations and improve candidate experience - Expanding talent acquisition in the LATAM region, particularly in Santiago, Chile, leveraging regional expertise - Building and enhancing employer brand to position Checkr as an employer of choice - Demonstrating strategic and tactical leadership by setting overarching strategies while executing day-to-day recruiting activities Checkr operates hub locations in Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; Nashville, TN; and Santiago, Chile. The role expects in-office presence 3+ days per week. In-office perks include lunch five times weekly, commuter stipend, and wellness amenities. Relocation stipend available for those willing to relocate to a hub. Requirements: - 12+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with minimum 5 years in a leadership role - Proven track record of building and scaling recruiting teams, including both technical and non-technical functions, with ability to hold teams to high performance standards - Experience recruiting within LATAM and understanding of regional talent landscape - Expertise leveraging data, analytics, and industry benchmarks to improve recruiting strategies and outcomes - Experience with AI and technology-driven recruiting tools, plus awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends - Track record leading structured, well-communicated process or program change with cross-functional alignment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners - Passion for developing and mentoring team members; fostering culture of growth and excellence - Vendor management experience and strong negotiation skills required - A-player mindset with strong bias for action: raises bar, moves with urgency, stays resilient through ambiguity, takes ownership
