Freenome is seeking a Senior Director of Real World Data (RWD) to lead the strategy, development, and implementation of a comprehensive RWD platform that transforms diverse real-world datasets—including electronic health records, claims data, imaging, and registries—into regulatory-grade, research-ready assets. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and owns all informatics aspects of the RWD pipeline, ensuring data quality, operational efficiency, and scalability. You will lead the RWD Informatics team in converting complex, disparate data sources into accessible datasets for biostatisticians, computational scientists, and other end users. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing data integration processes, analytical methods, and AI/agentic workflows to improve accuracy and drive efficiencies. You will develop a multi-year strategy for RWD acquisition, management, curation, and use to support regulatory submissions, clinical evidence generation, health economics research, and commercial initiatives like patient identification and care navigation. The role requires architecting a robust, scalable RWD platform capable of ingesting, linking, harmonizing, and curating large, complex datasets while ensuring regulatory-grade quality. You will lead clinical data analyses to support product strategy and commercialization, serve as the RWD expert across Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Engineering, and Product teams, and conduct technical due diligence for data acquisition partnerships. You will also oversee the translation of raw datasets into research-ready assets following industry-standard models like OMOP, suitable for rigorous statistical analysis and real-world evidence generation. This position is critical to Freenome's mission of developing early cancer detection products and digital health solutions that enable payers, providers, and patients to catch cancers early when intervention is most effective.
