Salary: USD 253,000 - 336,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Director of Ground Maneuver Programs to lead the development and deployment of advanced unmanned ground vehicles, robotic platforms, and soldier-borne hardware for the U.S. Department of War.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end program lifecycle for ground maneuver systems, including integration of communications, computing, sensors, and effectors onto Anduril's platforms. You will drive interface definitions, SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, Cost) budgets, spectrum and EMI deconfliction, and open-architecture compliance to ensure systems field as unified capabilities rather than disconnected subsystems.
You will lead a team of program managers responsible for maintaining strict schedules, cost constraints, and regulatory requirements. This includes coordinating between multiple hardware production and platform integration teams, managing complex supply chains, and ensuring quality, environmental qualification, and delivery commitments are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strong relationships with DoW customers (Army and Marine Corps program offices) and operational units to enable rapid feedback loops and iterative solutions
- Autonomously executing on broad and ambiguous requirements from engineering, customers, and corporate partners while managing multiple concurrent programs
- Implementing lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning, scope management, risk management, and customer communication
- Owning the program's path through government test and evaluation, including soldier touchpoints, mobility and live-fire trials, and environmental qualification
- Converting operator feedback into design and production changes on short cycles
- Fostering a creative, high-performance culture within the team and assessing team skills versus needs
- Collaborating with finance and business development on proposal responses and novel pricing strategies
- Growing the Ground Maneuver portfolio by shaping requirements and program strategy with DoW offices and operational units
- Supporting international demonstrations, coalition exercises, and user assessments with allied and partner nations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing the development of complex electromechanical or vehicle-based systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-million-dollar, high-volume hardware deliveries and driving on-time, on-budget completion
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with ability to move seamlessly between tactical and strategic (30,000 ft) levels
- Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams within complex engineering or technology-focused organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience assisting in budget creation and process cost optimization
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth knowledge of ground vehicles, robotics, or ruggedized electromechanical products with hands-on experience in integrated hardware and software systems
- Knowledge of integrating radios and waveforms, edge compute, EO/IR or RF sensors, and effector payloads onto common platforms, including open architecture standards (MOSA, CMOSS, SOSA)
- Strong background managing multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with hardware and software development teams
- Demonstrated experience establishing information dominance in challenging situations by synthesizing communication streams from internal and external stakeholders
- Direct experience with ground combat, tactical vehicle, or soldier equipment programs, particularly Army or Marine Corps operational experience
- Experience working within DoW contract vehicles
- Experience supporting business development and capture for DoW, broader USG, or allied programs, including requirements shaping, proposal and demonstration support, and familiarity with FMS/DCS international sales pathways and export control requirements
- Familiarity with JCIDS process and its application in ongoing project development
- Familiarity with ground platform qualification and safety release processes, including MIL-STD-810 environmental and MIL-STD-461 EMI testing
