Kaseya, a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software backed by Insight Partners, is seeking a Senior Director of Paid Media to own the strategy, execution, and performance of the company's global paid media investment.
Reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing, this is a builder's role with full accountability for a significant multi-channel budget spanning paid search (Google, Bing), paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube), programmatic display, video, content syndication, and emerging channels. You will design the processes, playbooks, measurement frameworks, and channel strategies from the ground up—not simply inherit and manage legacy structures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning global paid media strategy and budget allocation across all major channels
- Building the operational foundation of the paid media function, including processes, playbooks, campaign workflows, QA standards, and reporting cadences designed for scale
- Staying hands-on in platform strategy, campaign architecture, audience and bidding strategy, and budget pacing alongside your team
- Setting channel-level targets for pipeline, CAC, ROAS, and efficiency; forecasting and reallocating spend based on performance
- Building, leading, and developing a team of paid media managers and channel specialists; managing agency and vendor relationships with clear accountability
- Owning the measurement and attribution framework in partnership with marketing operations and analytics, including incrementality testing, media mix modeling, and full-funnel reporting
- Partnering with demand generation on integrated campaign strategy and with product marketing and brand teams on creative, messaging, and landing page optimization
- Driving continuous optimization of the paid funnel in partnership with web and conversion rate optimization teams
- Staying ahead of platform changes, privacy shifts, and emerging channels; piloting new opportunities with clear success criteria
- Presenting performance, forecasts, and investment recommendations to executive leadership on a regular cadence
The ideal candidate combines deep channel expertise with rigorous financial discipline, treats paid media as a P&L rather than a cost center, and leads from the front—equally comfortable in ad platforms and data as in the boardroom.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of digital marketing experience with deep specialization in paid media, including 5+ years leading paid media teams and owning eight-figure or high seven-figure annual budgets
- Proven track record driving pipeline and revenue through paid channels in B2B software or technology, with fluency in CAC, ROAS, pipeline contribution, LTV, and payback metrics
- Expert-level command of major paid platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta, programmatic DSPs) and the martech stack
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including hands-on experience with attribution models, incrementality testing, and marketing analytics tools
- Builder's track record: you've stood up or significantly rebuilt a paid media function, program, or process infrastructure—not just optimized one you inherited
- Genuinely hands-on operator at the senior level—still fluent and current in-platform, willing to build campaigns, dig into data, and prototype processes yourself before delegating
- Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing in-house teams and managing agency relationships with clear accountability
- Executive communication skills—able to translate channel performance into business narrative for C-level audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in high-velocity, high-volume B2B demand generation environments (SMB or mid-market motion with short sales cycles)
- Familiarity with IT management, security, or infrastructure software landscape, or experience marketing to IT buyers
- Experience with media mix modeling and navigating privacy-driven measurement change (signal loss, cookie deprecation)
- Experience at a company that scaled through acquisition, consolidating paid programs across multiple brands or business units
- Familiarity with ABM platforms and paid ABM execution (6sense, Demandbase, RollWorks)
