Mapbox is seeking a Developer Relations Manager to lead the company's developer relations strategy and community engagement efforts. You will lead a team responsible for connecting Mapbox with developers globally, setting strategy for how the organization educates, engages, evangelizes, and advocates for its developer community while remaining deeply involved in hands-on developer work.
In this role, you will own and evolve the Developer Relations strategy, establishing priorities and programs that drive developer engagement, adoption, and advocacy. You'll lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Developer Relations team while building and cultivating a developer community that supports peer learning. You'll develop scalable programs spanning technical content, community engagement, social media, events, workshops, demos, webinars, and developer forums.

You'll develop and nurture relationships with developers, customers, community leaders, and technical influencers, identifying partnership opportunities for co-created content including guest blogs, tutorials, videos, and workshops.
A key responsibility is serving as the bridge between the developer community and Mapbox Product and Engineering teams, synthesizing developer feedback and identifying product and documentation improvements. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to align Developer Relations programs with company priorities. You'll also build programs enabling Mapbox engineers and technical experts to share their work with the developer community.
You will establish clear goals and success metrics for Developer Relations programs, using data, developer insights, and experimentation to evaluate impact and guide investment decisions. You'll identify opportunities to scale Developer Relations through improved processes, tooling, content, community programs, and partnerships, while representing developer needs and perspectives internally to ensure the developer experience remains central to product development and launches.
