Volta is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform building the compute utility layer for the AI era. The company launched with a $10B strategic partnership with a leading frontier AI lab, Series A funding from Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund. With 100+ employees across London, Palo Alto, and New York, Volta is scaling rapidly. As Senior Director of Product Management, you will own product strategy and leadership across Volta's entire platform product organization. You will set direction across five key product areas: control plane, orchestration, user interfaces, inference, and security. You will lead the group product managers responsible for each area and report directly to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include: developing and owning the overall product strategy and roadmap across all platform areas; leading, mentoring, and developing the group product managers; aligning product priorities with company strategy and executive leadership; representing product strategy to customers, investors, and stakeholders; driving prioritization and trade-off decisions across competing product areas; building product management practices, processes, and career development frameworks; partnering with engineering leadership to align roadmaps; and scaling the product organization's structure and hiring as the company grows. You will operate with significant autonomy at an early-stage, fast-scaling company with direct visibility to founders and the executive team. This is an opportunity to shape how product management operates at Volta from the ground up and influence the strategic direction of a critical infrastructure platform. Required experience: significant product management leadership experience managing other product leaders; track record owning product strategy for complex, technical platforms; strong executive presence and communication skills; deep experience in infrastructure, cloud, or developer-facing products; excellent judgment balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities; comfort operating with autonomy in fast-scaling, early-stage environments.
