Salary: USD 210,000 - 265,000 / annual
Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company powering clinical research acceleration across 100+ sites in the US, Europe, India, and Australia. The company combines deep clinical trial expertise with AI to connect pharmaceutical sponsors with high-performing research teams across gastrointestinal, hepatology, obesity, and cardiology therapeutic areas.
You will lead physician engagement and medical affairs strategy for the cardiology site network, serving as a clinical ambassador and strategic partner to Principal Investigators (PIs), site operations, product, and corporate development teams. This is a high-impact, field-driven leadership role with significant visibility and scope.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establish and deepen trusted peer-to-peer relationships with cardiology PIs and site leadership across the network
- Develop structured engagement strategies with top investigators
- Communicate Iterative Health's clinical philosophy, trial model, and performance standards to site physicians
- Evaluate emerging scientific literature, clinical trends, and competitive developments in cardiology
- Translate complex clinical findings into strategic and operational recommendations for PIs, leadership, and external partners
- Serve as strategic medical partner to Site Operations, Life Sciences, Corporate Development, Marketing, and executive leadership
- Provide insight into site capabilities and performance to shape trial portfolio at site level
- Support site growth and new site assessment through collaboration with Corporate Development
- Partner with Business Development on protocol evaluations with current and prospective life sciences customers
- Incorporate investigator and site perspectives into clinical strategy
- Provide medical expertise for new indications, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate brings strong clinical and scientific credibility, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate strategically in a fast-paced, highly collaborative healthcare environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Field Medical, or Site Engagement at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
- Significant experience with cardiology principal investigators, community research sites, and cardiology key opinion leaders
- Proven ability to build trust with physicians and influence clinical behavior
- Track record of driving site engagement and performance in clinical trials
- Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, clinical development, and the healthcare ecosystem
- Experience working cross-functionally across clinical, scientific, commercial, product, and executive teams
- Strong scientific communication skills, including publications, abstracts, presentations, or other scientific communications
- Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate complex scientific information into actionable business recommendations
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities
- Strong judgment and commitment to scientific integrity, patient-centricity, and ethical medical practices
Preferred: Experience in cardiology or another relevant therapeutic area; experience working directly with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; established network of community-based cardiology investigators.
