Skild AI is building general-purpose robotic intelligence for autonomous mobile robot (AMR) fleets delivered as robotics-as-a-service (RaaS). As the first dedicated Business Development Lead, you will report to the Global Commercial Director and build the outbound prospecting engine from the ground up, creating pipeline for Account Executives.
You will prospect into enterprise 3PLs, retailers, e-commerce brands, and parts distributors through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and multi-touch sequences. Your responsibilities include researching target accounts to identify operations, supply chain, engineering, and executive decision-makers; writing personalized, persona-specific outreach addressing labor, throughput, and cost-per-unit pressures; and running first-call discovery to qualify prospects on operational fit, timing, decision process, and budget.
You will re-engage dormant and past opportunities, partner with marketing on trade show and campaign leads, and build ideal customer profile (ICP) target account lists with sales leadership. You will create and test sequences, call scripts, and objection handling strategies. Additionally, you will own the outbound tech stack and data sources, including CRM, sales engagement, and contact data tools, and track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline sourced against weekly and monthly targets while sharing market feedback with sales and marketing.
