Salary: USD 196,733 - 258,212 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to lead the company's inorganic growth strategy. Reporting to the SVP, Deputy CFO, you will own end-to-end corporate development execution across M&A, investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
• Deal Execution: Lead comprehensive M&A, investment, and divestiture transactions from sourcing and market mapping through valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, approval materials, closing, and integration planning.
• Market Mapping & Strategy: Develop thesis-driven sourcing strategies that translate enterprise priorities into market landscapes, target universes, build/buy/partner recommendations, and a prioritized pipeline of opportunities.
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Lead sophisticated, long-term enterprise-wide financial and capital modeling to inform strategic decisions on growth initiatives and capital allocation.
• Integration Planning: Partner with operational leaders to define integration plans, synergy targets, post-close KPIs, and governance structures ensuring transactions deliver against strategic and financial objectives.
• Strategic Evaluation: Provide comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessments of growth initiatives, including new market entries and business lines, in partnership with the Corporate Strategy team.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 12+ years of progressive experience in analytical financial roles with significant leadership responsibilities
• 10+ years of demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, translating complex data into actionable insights, strategies, and comprehensive financial plans, particularly in corporate development contexts
• 8+ years of significant corporate development experience, including direct involvement in M&A financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation
• 7+ years of experience collaborating, influencing, and presenting at the executive level, including direct interaction with C-suite and Board members
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or insurance industries (private equity, venture capital, investment banking)
• Healthcare industry experience and deep market knowledge
• Advanced degrees or professional designations (MBA, CFA)
