Life360 is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Analytics and Data Science team within the Core Product & Growth organization. The company serves 102.4 million monthly active users globally with a mobile app, Tile tracking devices, and Pet GPS trackers focused on family safety, location sharing, and emergency services.
The Data & Analytics organization spans 60+ people across data engineering, analytics engineering, analytics/decision science, and data science/ML. This role leads decision science and data science focused on Monthly Active Users (MAU), working to understand why members come, stay, and return. The team partners with product, marketing, and engineering to translate insights into product roadmaps.
Life360's data is distinctive for a consumer company: it measures families and circles rather than individuals, creating unique measurement challenges. With billions of location events, driving behavior data, crash detection signals, and Tile/Pet GPS tracker data, the company captures rich physical behavior patterns.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing decision scientists and data scientists, owning the MAU driver model and forecast, driving exploratory work for MAU growth strategy, establishing analysis standards and quality gates, partnering with Revenue Analytics leadership and Data Engineering to align metrics and experimentation practices, building an operating model that integrates analytics into product roadmap conversations early, and shaping how the team operates as AI-native—determining what gets delegated to AI agents, what gets automated, and what requires human judgment.
The role reports to the Head of Data and works closely with the Revenue Analytics and Data Science leader and Data Engineering leadership. You will elevate team capability over the next year, moving from task execution to proactive strategic advisory. The company is remote-first with 500+ employees across US and Canada.
