Salary: USD 133,000 - 185,000 / annual

Chime is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead analytics and measurement for the referrals channel. This role focuses on understanding how referral investments drive member acquisition and long-term value through a distinct measurement lens that accounts for organic bleed, incentive sensitivity, and referred member behavior. You will partner closely with the Referrals team to measure, optimize, and scale spend across the channel. Key responsibilities include: - Define KPIs and measurement frameworks across referral campaigns and audience segments - Size and scope referral campaigns in partnership with marketing, product, and finance, translating acquisition goals into spend, volume, and ROI projections - Build and maintain forecasting models projecting member acquisition volume, cost, and downstream LTV under different spend scenarios and campaign configurations - Develop attribution approaches that reconcile platform-reported performance with observed member behavior, accounting for dual-sided incentives and organic word-of-mouth overlap - Design and analyze geo experiments, holdouts, and platform lift studies to quantify incremental lift - Build and maintain dashboards providing visibility into spend, CAC, funnel conversion, and downstream LTV by campaign - Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve tracking, data quality, and pipelines - Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional leadership Required experience includes 4+ years in referral programs and marketing, growth, or product analytics (FinTech preferred). You should have expertise in marketing campaign planning and sizing, forecasting for growth channels, designing incrementality tests, causal inference methods, advanced SQL, Python or R, BI tools (Looker, Tableau), and attribution concepts. Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
