Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. The platform aggregated $21B in trading volume in 2025 and is positioned as an alternative news source reflecting collective expectations about the future.
As Senior Data Scientist for Product, you will be the analytical backbone of the product team, translating raw platform data into actionable insights that drive shipping decisions. You'll sit embedded within the product organization, partnering directly with product managers, designers, and engineers while collaborating with central Data Science and Data Engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include: defining and maintaining dashboards that surface product health metrics and anomalies; quantifying opportunities behind proposed work and grounding KRs in data; designing, instrumenting, and analyzing A/B tests and causal analyses to measure feature impact; partnering on high-stakes bets around personalization, ranking, and incentive systems; and producing clear, persuasive readouts for product and leadership that drive decision-making.
You bring 4+ years of data science or product analytics experience, ideally from fast-moving consumer products. You're proficient in SQL and Python/R, with genuine expertise in experimentation design, statistical reasoning, and causal inference. You combine strong product intuition with excellent communication skills—able to translate ambiguous questions into rigorous analyses and messy data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences. You thrive in lean, ambiguous environments where priorities shift and you own work end-to-end.
Bonus experience includes personalization, ranking, recommendation, or pricing/incentive systems; familiarity with prediction markets, trading, crypto, or real-money marketplaces; or a track record of building experimentation practices at scale.
