Chime is seeking a Senior Data Scientist focused on Organic Growth to measure and optimize the company's investment in search, app store, and content channels. Unlike paid acquisition, organic growth compounds over time and is mediated by ranking algorithms outside Chime's control, requiring specialized measurement approaches that account for paid-organic cannibalization, branded vs. non-branded intent, lagged returns, and self-selected high-intent traffic. In this role, you will partner closely with the Organic Growth team to define KPIs and measurement frameworks across SEO landing pages, content hubs, and app store listings. You'll size and scope organic initiatives by translating acquisition goals into expected traffic, conversion, and member volume projections, while supporting operational planning for content and technical roadmaps. You will build and maintain forecasting models that project impressions, sessions, install and signup volume, and downstream lifetime value under different investment scenarios, seasonality assumptions, and algorithm volatility. Key responsibilities include developing attribution approaches that reconcile platform-reported performance (Google Search Console, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, web and app analytics) with observed member behavior, accounting for dark traffic, branded vs. non-branded intent, and paid-organic overlap. You'll design and analyze SEO split tests, app store listing experiments, geo experiments, and paid search holdouts to quantify incremental lift and true impact. You'll build dashboards providing visibility into rankings, impression share, traffic, funnel conversion, blended CAC, and downstream LTV by surface, keyword cluster, and content type. You'll collaborate with Data Engineering to improve tracking, data quality, and pipelines supporting crawl, ranking, session, and conversion data. Finally, you'll translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional leadership. Required qualifications include 5+ years in organic growth channels (SEO, ASO, content) and marketing, growth, or product analytics experience. You need expertise in organic growth planning and opportunity sizing, forecasting for marketing/growth channels, designing and evaluating incrementality tests, and causal inference methods. Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R are essential, along with experience in organic platform data sources and BI tools (Looker, Tableau). Strong understanding of attribution concepts in privacy-constrained, cross-device environments and ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical partners are required.
