Salary: EUR 43,000 - 77,000 / annual
DoubleVerify's Scibids division is a global leader in AI-powered digital campaign activation. The company develops machine learning solutions that optimize real-time bidding for display advertising across major demand-side platforms (The Trade Desk, DV360, Xandr). The Paris office houses 30+ data scientists working on bidding algorithms and automation frameworks.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will drive the evolution of Scibids' core bidding algorithms and automation framework. This role combines rigorous statistical thinking with hands-on implementation, requiring both intellectual precision and practical execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage projects end-to-end from proof-of-concept through production deployment and monitoring
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and share best practices
- Work with massive datasets (billions of ad impressions monthly) and millions of variables
- Solve non-routine analysis problems not handled by off-the-shelf ML solvers
- Address challenging scaling and engineering problems (the system produces thousands of ML models daily)
- Collaborate with commercial and customer success teams to identify new algorithmic opportunities
- Identify and automate repetitive processes, including developing AI routines to replace manual work
Required qualifications:
- MS degree in applied mathematics, data science, statistics, probabilities, operations research, or machine learning
- 2–5 years of professional data science experience with Python/C++
- Passion for automation and data-driven decision-making
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional experience with SQL
- Experience deploying ML models to production
- Prior experience leading technical projects or mentoring team members
Technical stack: Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Google Cloud (App Engine Standard, Cloud SQL, Cloud Datastore).
Full-time CDI position based in Paris (8th arrondissement, Champs-Élysées). Hybrid arrangement. Competitive package includes fixed salary, annual bonus, and company equity.
