Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, an enterprise orchestration layer for building, deploying, and governing AI. The company enables teams to design and operate analytics, machine learning, and AI agents with transparency, collaboration, and control across multi-vendor environments.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take on a unique role that combines technical expertise with customer-facing impact. You'll work directly with enterprise customers throughout their journey with Dataiku, from platform discovery through production deployment. Your responsibilities include:
- Training users and helping them master the Dataiku platform through demos, office hours, and ongoing consultative support
- Analyzing and investigating data and machine learning applications across diverse industries and use cases
- Providing strategic guidance to customer and account teams to drive success
- Scoping and co-developing production-level data science projects alongside customers
- Mentoring customer data scientists and team members to support their growth
You'll work primarily with Python, supplemented by R, SQL, PySpark, and JavaScript as needed. The role requires strong technical depth combined with excellent communication skills—you'll explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of coding experience (Python, R, SQL), 5+ years building ML models, and deep understanding of data systems and platform mechanics (cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, SQL). You must be a native German speaker with fluent or native English.
Experience in consulting, customer-facing data science, data engineering, MLOps, web app development, API building, or enterprise data science tools is highly valued.
