You will join the Supply Chain Planning Science team as a Senior Data Scientist (Data Scientist III) based in Bangalore. This is an individual contributor role with significant technical scope and mentorship responsibilities. You will own end-to-end modeling workstreams spanning problem formulation, experimentation, production deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and productionizing advanced Operations Research and optimization solutions for supply chain decisions
- Addressing critical challenges in warehouse routing, transportation, inventory planning, and network optimization
- Translating complex operational problems into scalable, measurable solutions
- Collaborating with Staff Data Scientists, Planning Tools Engineering, and supply chain stakeholders across Bangalore and Palo Alto
- Building models that move real business metrics using rigorous scientific methodology
- Ensuring production reliability and monitoring of deployed solutions
- Contributing to AI-native approaches to Operations Research
- Establishing strong scientific and engineering practices across the team
You will work at the intersection of data science, operations research, and supply chain optimization, with direct impact on how Quince routes inventory, manages transportation, and plans network capacity. The role emphasizes both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.
