Super.com is a fintech company seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Analytics & Data Science team. This is an embedded role within mission-aligned teams (MAT model), working alongside product managers, engineers, and designers to solve high-impact business problems.
You will own complex, end-to-end data science projects from problem framing through production deployment and monitoring. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering statistical and machine learning solutions that drive data-driven decisions; investigating trends and anomalies to diagnose root causes; architecting data pipelines for large-scale datasets; designing business rules for cash flow underwriting and repayment workflows; and running rigorous experimentation programs (A/B testing and beyond).
You'll develop, prototype, validate, and productionize machine learning models while balancing accuracy, latency, cost, and maintainability. You'll communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and recommendations, and partner with leadership to translate strategic priorities into data science roadmaps.
The team is mature in its technical practices, using Snowflake, DBT, and Amplitude, launching new experiments daily. They're looking for someone who can identify high-leverage problems and build the right solution rather than the obvious one.
Required: 5+ years in data science with a track record of shipping models with measurable business impact; ability to own projects independently and lead through technical ambiguity; experience taking models to production and maintaining them; technical degree in data science, computer science, analytics, or AI (or equivalent applied experience); strong SQL and DBT skills; expert programming in ML stack (sklearn, pandas, numpy, TensorFlow/PyTorch); previous fintech/lending experience preferred.
Super.com offers remote-first flexibility, unlimited PTO, company-wide recharge days, competitive salary, equity, wellness budgets, personal development funds, and family-friendly benefits including generous parental leave.
