Fin, an AI Customer Agent company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Research, Analytics & Data Science (RAD) team in London. The RAD team drives evidence-based decision-making across the organization using data insights to unlock actionable intelligence about customers, products, and business performance.
In this role, you will partner with product teams across R&D to identify critical questions and answer them with data. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop key product success metrics, set targets, measure results, and size opportunities. A significant part of your work involves designing, building, and updating end-to-end data pipelines while collaborating with stakeholders to drive new data collection and refine existing data sources.
You'll also partner with product researchers to build a holistic understanding of customers, products, and the business, while influencing product roadmap and strategy through exploratory analysis and quantitative research. Increasingly, you'll use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate analysis and coding, identify opportunities to automate workflows, and build scalable data products like dashboards and internal tools that enable stakeholders to self-serve insights.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience working with data to solve problems and drive evidence-based decisions, strong SQL skills, solid grounding in statistics, and experience with scientific computing languages like Python. You should have a proven track record of delivering actionable insights with minimal supervision, strong product intuition, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. Bonus skills include experience with data modeling and ETL pipelines (especially dbt), building internal tools and self-serve analytics, and leveraging AI across the data workflow.
