The company helps carriers, brokers, consultants, and specialized insurance organizations make better decisions by revealing hidden risk through a vast industry data lake containing tens of millions of policies and claims enriched with economic, health, geographic, and demographic signals.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will own well-scoped AI models end-to-end, working independently to ship measurable uplift on the core AI capabilities that power the platform. You'll collaborate closely with data science, product, and engineering teams to advance models and drive them to market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leverage modern deep learning, large language models, and traditional data science techniques to create powerful hybrid models with real business impact
- Brainstorm, prototype, prove, deploy, and realize the value of your work in market quickly
- Work on world-class problems: big data, federated learning, unstructured data challenges, timeseries and sequence modeling
- Apply techniques ranging from GLMs and XGBoost to Transformers
- Translate complex mathematical models into clear, compelling narratives that drive customer trust and bottom-line results
This is a fully remote role with hybrid availability for those local to Boston. You will work on high-impact AI/ML problems in the insurance and fintech space, with direct visibility into how your models improve customer outcomes.
