Fixify is reimagining the IT help desk by applying machine learning and AI to transform tedious IT requests into seamless experiences. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll lead full-lifecycle data science projects from conceptualization through deployment and maintenance, working across engineering, product, operations, and customer success teams.
You'll uncover patterns in large datasets, predict trends, and optimize service delivery using modern data science techniques. The role emphasizes practical impact over pure research—you'll propose and lead new research areas while communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning capabilities, and you'll elevate standards for operational excellence within the data science team.
Key responsibilities include leading full-lifecycle projects, collaborating across departments, communicating data science concepts effectively to non-technical audiences, finding simple solutions when advanced models aren't needed, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. You'll work with modern tech stacks and help shape the tools and frameworks the team uses as it scales.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of data science experience with a track record of creating impactful models. Strong proficiency in scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, and plotly. Deep statistical background, especially in time series analysis. Experience implementing tests and maintaining engineering standards in data science work. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Growth mindset and openness to learning LLM technologies.
