Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, an enterprise orchestration layer for building, deploying, and governing AI. This Senior Data Scientist role is a customer-facing technical position where you'll embed directly with enterprise clients to co-design and deliver production-grade AI solutions across diverse industries and use cases.
Unlike traditional data science roles, you'll own end-to-end solution delivery: from initial design workshops through production deployment. You'll work primarily within the Dataiku platform using Python and SQL, with occasional work in R, PySpark, and JavaScript. Your responsibilities span technical architecture decisions, hands-on model development, customer training and enablement, and strategic advisory to drive adoption and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include designing and co-developing AI projects with customers, enabling teams to master the Dataiku platform through training and workshops, embedding with client teams to contribute to end-to-end solution architecture, making and defending architecture trade-offs, providing strategic guidance on adoption and value realization, shaping technical proposals with scoping and estimation, and coordinating efficient customer engagements.
You'll need 8+ years in Advanced Analytics & AI (ideally consulting or customer-facing roles), 5+ years hands-on with Python and SQL, 5+ years designing and deploying production ML/AI models, and a track record of owning technical outcomes directly with customers. Strong communication skills are essential—you'll explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Bonus skills include LLM/AI agent experience, data visualization frameworks (Dash, Streamlit, RShiny, JavaScript), API experience, Data Engineering and MLOps practices, enterprise data science platform familiarity, cloud architecture understanding, and a passion for teaching or mentoring.
