Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, an enterprise orchestration layer for building, deploying, and governing AI. The company enables teams to design and operate analytics, machine learning, and AI agents with transparency, collaboration, and control across multi-vendor environments.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take on a unique hybrid role combining technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. You'll co-develop production-level data science projects directly with customers, analyzing diverse datasets and machine learning applications across industries. Your responsibilities include helping users discover and master the Dataiku platform through training, office hours, and consultative support, while also providing data science expertise to internal sales and marketing teams.
You'll work primarily with Python and SQL on the Dataiku platform, with occasional work in R, PySpark, and JavaScript. A key part of the role involves developing custom Python-based plugins in collaboration with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams to enhance platform functionality.
Required qualifications include 2-10 years of experience with Python and SQL, 2-10 years building ML models and using ML tools like scikit-learn, and familiarity with data visualization in Python and R. You should understand underlying data systems such as cloud architectures, Hadoop, or SQL databases. Fluent English is required; fluent or native Arabic is a significant plus.
Ideal candidates demonstrate curiosity, empathy, and the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred experience includes consulting or customer-facing data science roles, data engineering, MLOps, web app development (JavaScript, RShiny, Dash), API building, enterprise data science tools, and teaching or public speaking.
