Robinhood is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead the Crypto Data Science team, which is central to the company's mission to democratize finance. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA with full in-office attendance (5 days/week).
You will lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analytics engineers, partnering closely with product, engineering, finance, and research teams to drive strategic initiatives including international expansion, pro trader growth, and Wallet app adoption. Your responsibilities include delivering data-driven recommendations to shape product direction—particularly around stock tokens, perpetuals, and blockchain opportunities—and fostering a culture of excellence in analytics and experimentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of data scientists and analytics engineers
- Partner with Crypto product, engineering, finance, and research teams on key initiatives
- Deliver robust, data-driven analyses to inform product strategy
- Foster a culture of analytics excellence and impact
- Represent Crypto Data Science in cross-functional leadership forums
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years in data science with at least 2+ years of people management
- Deep proficiency in Python and SQL in production/analytics environments
- Proven track record in product data science with strategic impact
- Strong understanding of crypto ecosystem (3–4 years direct experience preferred)
- Executive presence, cross-team influence, and excellent communication
